  • Angela da Rocha - (PhD in Management, IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Spain) Since 2009, Associate Professor of Marketing and International Business at IAG PUC-Rio (PUC-Rio School of Business) and Coordinator of NUPIN. Former full professor and two-time dean of COPPEAD at UFRJ. CNPq Level 1A investigator and FAPERJ Cientista de Nosso Estado. FAPERJ department coordinator of Economics, Administration and Accounting. Member of CIMaR (Consortium for International Marketing Research). Has nine published books, and numerous articles in national and international scientific journals, including: Journal of Business Research; Entrepreneurship & Regional Development; Journal of International Entrepreneurship; Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice; International Marketing Review; International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management; Journal of International Business Studies; European Journal of Marketing. Has provided consulting services to Brazilian and multinational companies and government agencies on issues related to internationalization, strategy, planning and marketing.   • Jorge Ferreira da Silva - (D.Sc., Production Engineering, PUC-Rio, Brazil) Associate Professor of strategy and quantitative methods at IAG PUC-Rio, where he is Coordinator of graduate studies in business administration. Currently president of ANPAD (Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Administração) and formerly Scientific Director of ANPAD. Extensive business experience; former officer of several companies in the area of technology and marketing, such as Cobra Computadores and Grupo Cataguazes-Leopoldina. Participated in numerous missions abroad to foster strategic alliances and for acquisition of technology. International experience includes extended periods in in the U.S. and England. Has numerous publications in national and international journals, including Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Entrepreneurship, Latin American Business Review, Brazilian Administration Review, Revista de Administração Contemporânea, Revista de Administração de Empresas, Revista de Administração, among others. Research interests include the impact of strategy on the performance of domestic and internationalized enterprises; export performance.

  • Roger Volkema - (PhD, Industrial Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, EUA) Associate Professor of organizations and planning at IAG PUC-Rio, where he is Coordinator of International Relations. He was previously Associate Professor of Management at American University, Washington, DC. For several years, Dr. Volkema conducted research and taught courses as visiting professor in Brazil, having also taught in other Latin American countries. He is a member of the Fulbright Commission in Brazil. He is the author of numerous articles in international journals, including: International Negotiation, Negotiation Journal, Journal of Management Education, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Business Horizons, Journal of Business Research, among others. Research interests include negotiation and intercultural management.

  • Jorge Carneiro - (PhD in Business Administration, UFRJ, Brazil) Assistant Professor of Strategy at IAG PUC-Rio School of Business. Dr. Carneiro received the CAPES award for best thesis in Business Administration in 2008. Current editor of the Brazilian Administration Review (BAR) and member of the scientific committee of the ANPAD academic division on organizational strategy. Brazil representative to the European Academy of International Business and the Business Association of Latin American Studies. Former executive at Petrobras and at a technology company. Has published several articles in national and international scientific journals. Author of a book, Formação e administração de Preços, as well as several book chapters. Research interests include the impact of strategy on the performance of domestic and internationalized enterprises; export performance.
